How do I...
Obtain Telephone Advice?

The doctor may not be able to speak to you during surgery unless your enquiry is urgent. The doctor will usually be able to speak to you after morning surgery by arrangement with the receptionist.

How do I...
Make An Appointment?

We run an appointment system. Appointments can be made on the day by telephoning the surgery from 8.00am. We also offer some pre-bookable appointments which can be booked up to 72 hours in advance (excluding Thursdays and Bank Holidays).

For appointments please ring 844117 - this line opens at 8.00am.
For URGENT appointments please ring 845144 - please use this number only if you need a doctor urgently between 8.00 - 8.30am. Patients with urgent problems will always be seen that day, although if there are no routine appointments available, you may be asked to attend at the end of a surgery.

Please make a separate appointment for each person who needs to see the doctor.

If you know your problem will take some time to sort out, please ask the receptionist for a double appointment.

Appointments to see one of the nurses can still be made in advance.

Please cancel an appointment if you are unable to attend the surgery.

How do I...
Obtain A Home Visit?

Patients are requested to telephone before 11.00am if a visit is required that day. Emergency visits only will be arranged after that time. Please give the receptionist as much information as possible to enable the doctor to allocate priority to house calls. Please remember that several patients can be seen at the surgery in the time that it takes to do a home visit. Home visits are for clinical need only and not due to lack of transport.
